SABRINA SIERRA

I was born and raised in the Bay Area and my favorite childhood memories include exploring parks and open spaces in this region. Nature and music are my greatest passions and interests outside (and often within) the work that I do. I believe in the vital importance of rooting in reciprocal relationships with the land and am passionate about supporting nurturing experiences for youth through the Fiddleheads program.

I received an MA in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies and a BA in Community Studies from UC Santa Cruz. Prior to my work with Seeds, I served as a Program Coordinator of Bay Area Girls Rock Camp and a Board Member for the international Girls Rock Camp Alliance, devoted to intersectional gender justice and musical expression and collaboration as liberatory forces. In my therapy practice, I bring a holistic approach grounded in cultural humility and an understanding that our lived identities and ancestral lineages greatly impact our struggles and paths to wellness.
