Ricky Santuario (she/they) is a trans and queer latina educator, ethnic studies advocate, and artist from Los Angeles, CA who is currently based in Berkeley/Ohlone Territory. Working as an educator for over 4 years, she is always thinking about teaching, learning, and growing as a community. If she is not writing poems about gender and race, working on her comic book, or working on music, you can find her pickling things in her kitchen or recommending books to her friends on antiracist wok and abolition. She has a B.A. in Comparative Ethnic Studies, so if you ever have any questions about the new buzzwords being used or want to learn more about being critical or power systems, then she’s your girl! Some of her favorite things include: sliced fruit, honesty, sunlight through the blinds, and moving and working from a place of love!
