Max is currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at Vassar College, pursuing an Independent Program focused on Drug Policy and Community Psychology. His experiences express a commitment to more compassionate, just, and rational approaches to drug policy and the criminal justice system. Furthermore, his interest in social work and interacting directly with populations led him to Vassar’s Urban Education Initiative, where he has worked for the past two years as a one-on-one mentor to middle schoolers at the Poughkeepsie Middle School. He strives to focus on interpersonal communication in his life and work, validating the roles of vulnerability, honesty, awareness, and openness in helping us all grow and thrive.
