KAYVON AFSARIFARD

On behalf of everyone at Seeds of Awareness, our hearts go out to all those impacted by COVID-19. This includes those diagnosed with the virus, their family and friends, and those who are experiencing stress, fear and uncertainty due to the pandemic.
We are continuously monitoring the guidance from the CDC, Department of Public Health and our partners in the health services community. While this is clearly a time of great uncertainty, we feel confident that by supporting each other with empathy, we'll emerge from this crisis stronger than before.
To comply with the recently announced “shelter in place” mandate, we will temporarily close the Holistic Counseling Centers in Oakland, San Francisco and Petaluma until further notice. However, our unwavering focus at Seeds of Awareness remains making mental health and emotional support accessible and available to anyone in the community who needs it. We will continue to offer therapeutic services to our clients, both online and by phone throughout the closure. And, we are advocating for the resources our staff, clients and schools need right now to continue critical services without interruption.
Please reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns. During this challenging time, we wish to remind you to practice mindfulness, engage in physical activity and prioritize your well-being. And thank you for being a part of the Seeds of Awareness community.
In Community,
Seeds of Awareness
