KARI MORGAN, ASSOCIATE MFT

As a relationally trained psychotherapist who practices long term work, I believe that the heart of the therapy occurs inside the psychological contact experienced/felt/navigated between the client and clinician in a here and now authentic relationship.

Sometimes in therapy, it could feel worse before it feels any better. We will learn to titrate our work together and we can explore things that might improve your resiliency. Change can happen as our blocks release and feelings expressed, the healing is in the feeling afterall.

Under a psychodynamic model of the mind, I will be paying close attention to your early life experiences and its legacy on your internal landscape which influences the terrain you inhabit with your existence today. Who do you want to be, how do you want to be? While I am seeking to understand you I will provide deep non-judgemental listening, support, guidance, unconditional positive regard, empathy, and structure in the pursuit of your treatment goals.
