Hello, my name is Ferris. I have received a Master’s in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies and have over 8 years of experience working with adults and young adults in nature-based settings. I have passion of supporting others in all phases of life and I believe that curiosity, acceptance and self-compassion are our best allies in getting to know ourselves and how we relate to the world. I work from a humanistic and holistic approach that welcomes all the diverse facets that make you who you are. In the Fiddleheads program I will work in alliance with the healing container that nature can provide. I will incorporate mindfulness practices to facilitate a fun and safe space where children can explore who they are, develop emotional awareness, respect boundaries and communicate needs effectively. Self-exploration and fostering supportive relationships can be creative and I will support this by meeting you where you are and illuminating your unique needs and gifts. I would be honored to join you on your journey of continually becoming you.
